Fall Fashion Essentials.

Hello loves!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that tomorrow it is officially fall?!? Ahhhh! Time for fall festivals, bonfires, and food! Am I the only one that thinks food gets better when it gets cold outside?!

Today’s post is special because I have teamed up with one of my best friends in real life, Whitely aka The Whipstitch Wife. She is a blogger, mommy, DIY-er and has one of the cutest homes you will ever see! I will be sharing my fall fashion essentials and she will show you her must have fall home decor. Let’s get started!

1. Boots

First on my list is boots! Tall boots, short boots, booties, all the boots! I love almost every style of boot! Below are my 3 favorite boots of all time! Best thing about them? 2 of them were under $50 and the other was under $75!!

On my list to buy this year are a true brown pair of riding boots and a two-toned pair of riding boots. Maybe I’ll ask Santa. 😉

I could not find exact links to the boots so I listed similar options below!

Brown boots: similar/ Booties: similar/ Black boots: similar/

2. Scarves

Oh yes, scarves! Big, beautiful neck blankets! Fall is not complete without them! My favorite way to wear them is with a messy bun and stud earrings. The two below are my absolute favorites! The plaid one is from Forever 21 about 5 years ago and the  diamond print one was from Old Navy last year.

3. Leggings/ Jeggings

When I find something I love, I buy it in every color available! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it 1000 times over and over again. The Mid-Rise Jegging is the most comfortable jegging I have ever found! I live in leggings or jeggings when I’m not at work. They have a good variety of washes and distressing so there should be something for everyone. And they are less than $30 a pair. You can thank me later. TJ Maxx is also great place to find leggings/jeggings!

4. Berry Lips and Dark Nails

I only wear a lip color other than nude in the fall and winter. These 3 are gorgeous and look great on any one! Hikari ‘Merlot’, Mac ‘Twig’ and Nars ‘Strawberry Fields’.

I live for dark nails in the fall!!! My top three favorites from left to right are China Glaze ‘Up All Night, Zoya ‘Blaze’ and China Glaze ‘Ingrid’

5. Hats

These felt, floppy hats (that’s a technical term) are a newer addition to my collection. They are simple but chic at the same time and can be the perfect finishing piece to any outfit. Old Navy has a variety of colors online!

I want to add a fun colored one to my collection, maybe a cobalt blue or red!

Honorable Mention: Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte.

What girl can live without her PSL in the fall?! Not me!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Make sure you check out Whitley to see her fall home decor essentials!!

Weekend Wear 9.19.2015

 Hello Loves! Happy Saturday!!

This weekend is packed full of events: a local arts and crafts festival and my husband’s family reunion to name a few. I look forward to fall festivals all year! I always find cute handmade jewelry and home decor.

Last weekend I went shopping with some of the besties and I scored this adorable blanket poncho from the American Eagle outlet for less than $15! I wasn’t sure how I was going to wear it, but I knew I had to have it.

I love the way it looks with simple black leggings and black boots. Can we talk about how cute this phone case is?! eBay is my absolute favorite place to shop for phone cases and cheap, trendy jewelry.

September Ipsy Glam Bag.

Hello loves!

Today I came home and my favorite pink package was waiting on me in my mail box. I absolutely love getting my ipsy glam bag every month! If you don’t know what ipsy is, it is a month subscription service where you get 5 products (some are full size, some are samples)  and a travel size cosmetic case. I have tried a few monthly subscription services and ipsy is by far my favorite.

September’s theme is Face Fashion.   The first product I received is the NYX 3 color shadow palette. I am always happy to see NYX products in my bag and this is no exception!
The three shadows are great neutral shades and the colors are beautiful.
Next, I got the Evely Nova cream blush in Ash. It is a nice warm pink color. The only complaint I have with this is the size is very small, so it will be hard to use a brush to get the product out of the container.
The final cosmetic product I received is the trèstique mini matte lip crayon in Nantucket Nude. I love nude lips, so I know I will use this up!
I love trying out new skin care products, so it is always nice to see sample moisturizers. This one by bayberry naturals is sulfate and phthalate free. It doesn’t have a strong smell with is great in a facial moisturizer.
My final product is the Not Soap Radio The Phoenix hand/body lotion. This feels nice on the hands and has fruity smell. I will throw this in my hand bag and use it up in no time!

Overall, I am very happy with this months bag! If you want to sign up for Ipsy, will include a link below.

Thank you so much for your support!

Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!

Hello loves!

I am so happy that it is really starting to feel like fall. The weather has been beautiful. I had my first PSL [Pumpkin Spice Latte] a few days ago! The only downside to fall in Georgia is that each day the weather can be drastically different. It’s much cooler in the morning and evening than it is during the day. If you live in the south you know what I mean…heat in the car between the hours of 9 pm-10 am, A/C going the rest of the time. I decided to do a two for one post today to show you how I change up the same outfit to fit any time of the day and how to transition from summer to fall.

I am absolutely loving the flare jeans trend! These American Eagle jeans are a great fit with just enough flare. They are having a BOGO 50% sale on their denim in store right now!

Top: H&M / Jeans: American Eagle / Wedges : Lucky Brand via TJ Maxx / Handbag: Michael Kors / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban / Watch: Michael Kors

Add a cardigan, hat and some booties for cooler weather.

Booties: Jessica Simpson  / Hat: Old Navy

Can we talk about how much I love this hat?! I am a sucker for a good hat and this one from Old Navy is LOVE and it was only $15!

I hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for your support, it means the world to me!

Fall at the Branham Home

 Happy almost Fall y’all!

Last weekend, I dug out the fall decor and went to work decorating my house. I decided to share a few of my favorite decor pieces with you all. I hope you enjoy and I would love to see the things that you are obsessing over for fall!

This wreath is probably my favorite wreath I have ever made. I grabbed the wreath and letter from Hobby Lobby and most of my other supplies came from Old Time Pottery.

My fireplace is my absolute favorite thing to decorate each season! Growing up, I never had a fireplace so when we decided to purchase our own home, a big fireplace was at the top of my list!

I always like to keep my entryway festive! I change out a few pieces as the seasons change. All of the decor here came from Target, IKEA or Old Time Pottery. The mirror was a DIY Pinterest project.

I’m loving this little sign from Target! I found it in the dollar section for $3!

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed and I’ll be back soon with some more fashion posts!

Weekend Wear 9.7.2015

Happy Labor Day Loves!

Does anyone else love three day weekends as much as I do? I feel like I get so much more done with that one extra day off. Saturday was spent shopping with one of the besties. We went to our favorite nail salon and a cute little restaurant downtown for lunch. Of course we hit up Target. They already have a ton of fall/winter clothes on sale. I’m loving the fur vests but I can’t bring myself to buy one just yet.

This dress is perfect for the late summer/early fall Georgia weather. Right now, it is still 90ish degrees everyday, but there are some days where it is a little cooler.

image

I found the dress at TJ Maxx about a month ago for around $15. It is a bit short so I decided to wear it with flats instead of heels. I feel like heels always make a dress look shorter.

image

My favorite thing about this dress is the pockets! I am a sucker for a dress with pockets. They are also a nice distraction from a belly that’s full of sweet potato fries.

image

I paired it with a pair of gladiator style sandals that were a birthday gift a few years ago. I believe that they were from Rue 21.

image

The 3/4 length sleeve are super flattering if you struggle with bigger arms and wider shoulders.

image

For my “arm candy” I have my Style & Co. watch from Macy’s that I purchased a few years ago, my Pandora bracelet and my Alex and Ani bangle.

image

My bag is a Michael Kors ‘Kempton’ Nylon Tote that I bought pre-loved for $50 recently.

image

I have to give a special shout out to Whitley, my photographer for the day!

I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend!

Inside the pocket of your ripped jeans.

Hello loves!

image

If you know me, you know that I love my ripped jeans. I have a few different ones but my all time favorite are the Mossimo Mid Rise Jeggings from Target. They are a bit high-waisted so they flatter my body style and have just the right amount of stretch. For less than $30, these are a great steal and if you use your Target Red card you get an additional 5% off your purchase. I usually wait for Target to have a BOGO 50% off women’s apparel to buy more expensive items.

image

I will wear my ripped jeans with just about anything, but my favorite is to mix them with items that are a bit more feminine.

image

Here, I have paired a medium wash denim with a basic tank from Target. [Can you tell I really like Target?] I found this tank on the clearance rack for $2.70!

image

This Jolt Lace-Trim Sleeved Kimono is from Belk. The price was perfect for this piece. It was $27.99 with an additional 20% off. Belk is a great place to find deals because they are always having a sale and almost always have a coupon with an additional percentage off.image

I love the way the lace from the kimono looks with the distressed jeans.

image

For my shoes and handbag, I decided to keep it simple. The shoes are Steve Madden found at TJ Maxx for around $30. The handbag is the Michael Kors Hamilton East West Satchel in the color Luggage. It was a Christmas gift from my sweet husband last year.

I hope you enjoyed and let me know your favorite way to wear ripped/distressed jeans!

XOXO
