It’s that time of year again! Can you believe it?! Black Friday will be here at the end of the week so that means that Christmas is right around the corner and we are all busy decorating, shopping and eating! I absolutely LOVE buying other people Christmas gifts. It makes me so happy seeing the joy that giving brings to other people.
A few days ago, my husband asked me what I wanted for a gift. That is one of the hardest questions to answer! If you are anything like me, you buy the things you want for yourself. He told me to make a list of a few different items and include a link so he knows that he is getting the right one if he decided to buy it.
Of course, when he said to include the link to the items, the first thing I thought was “I should do a blog post and he can look at that!” So that is exactly what I have done. I included inexpensive items and a few things that I usually wouldn’t splurge on if I was buying it for myself.
I hope this can give you some ideas of thing to ask for or things you may want to get one of the ladies in your life.
As a little disclaimer, I know very well that gifts are not the true meaning behind Christmas, but I would be lying if I said it wasn’t a big part of the holiday in my family.

Next, I have included a store. The Trendy Sparrow on Etsy is on of my favorites! I have the “Bloggers Gonna Blog” t-shirt and I wear it all the time! She sells a variety of differnt things! I am a sucker for cute journals! I love how nice they look on a desk and they makes a perfect gift for someone who loves to write or make lists.

I just love personalized gifts! I have a few items from mynamenecklace.com and I love this piece as well. It would be prefect for a new mom or any mom as well as newly married couples in your life! You can personalize these with one or two names!
Reversible Faux Leather Tote & Wristlet
This tote has been on my list for a long time! I love that it is reversible and the navy/taupe colors are something that I don’t have in my wardrobe. Giving this gift to someone else is like giving them two gifts!
I will let you that Walmart has a cheaper option of you are looking for other colors. They don’t offer a navy so that is why I included this one. You can find the Walmart tote here.
Inspired Hearts Classic Pea Coat
I absolutely love this coat from Belk! I have the black one and it is wonderful! The color of this one is so much fun and not something I would normally buy myself. It is always nice to have a fun colored coat in your wardrobe. A red one would be wonderful for the holidays as well!

Oversized Wrap Poncho
I think this poncho is so cute and it’s from Walmart! Prefect for the cold weather. I have been really impressed with Walmart lately, especially online!
Kate Spade Pencil it in 12-month agenda
I just love how chic this planner looks! I normally wouldn’t spend $40 on a planner but this one is so unique! Target and Walmart also have very cute, affordable planners that would make the prefect gift for the lady in your life who likes to stay organized.
Hunter Boots
Can you believe I don’t own a pair of rain boots?! These Hunter boots are so cute and look awesome paired with boot socks! I have wanted a pair for years but I just can’t bring myself to buy them.

Sephora, Ulta, even Walmart and Target always offer great cosmetic kits that include brushes, skin care, hair care and nail polish.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue
This was my first high end fragrance when I was a teenager. I haven’t had it in a few years and a coworker was wearing it and I knew I had to have back in my collection again! A perfume is a great gift to give, if you know what fragrance a person wears.
Sephora offers a sample fragrance set that also included a voucher for the person to pick a full size bottle of their favorite scent from the kit. You can find that here.
A Few Extra Gift Ideas:
- Subscription Services are a great way to keep giving all year long. There are all types of services from jewelry to cosmetics, food to ice cream, even snacks and wine!
- If you need an idea for your significant other, you can always make a folder with preplanned date nights for the year. Include gift cards to the restaurants you will be eating at, maybe some gift cards so she can buy a new outfit for those special nights.
- A DIY gift can be one of the best things to give. For my Grandma’s birthday this year, I made her a wall sign with all of her family’s birthdays and special date and she loved it! PInterst is the place to go when it comes to finding unique, DIY gifts!
