Tips and Tricks for Shopping at Old Navy

Hello sweet friends!

Today I have another Tips and Tricks post, this time it is for Old Navy! Old Navy is one of my favorite places to find clothes for work! The Pixie Pants are a staple in my wardrobe.

The first things I want to mention is that I almost always get better deals when ordering online. That being said, they do offer discounts in store that are not offered online. Yesterday for example, everything in-store was 40% off while everything online was 30% off. My absolute FAVORTIE thing about shopping online is that you can stack coupons!

Having an Old Navy credit card is a must when shopping online. You almost always get free shipping and there is always an additional discount when using your card. I want to make it clear that I don’t recommend going in debit for it but it is nice to have. You can always turn around and make a payment for the amount you spend so you don’t accrue interested and a  build a balance. You can also use your card at Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta.

Sign up for emails. I get daily emails about the sales and coupons they are having. Some of the deals are “flash sales” so they don’t last very long.

Use your Retail Me Not app to find the best deals in store and online. I never by anything without checking to see if there is a discount that I can use.

Shop clearance. Sometimes they offer a coupon that can be used on any item, when this happens, I always check out the clearance section to get the best deals.

I hope this helped and gave you some good tips and tricks for shopping at Old Navy. If you want to see me Tips and Tricks for shopping at Target click here. Let me know if you have any more tips that I didn’t share!

As always, thank you for your continued love and support!

Winter to Spring featuring Via 74

Hello sweet friends!

Spring is coming, I can feel it! This past weekend was warm enough to get out the sandals and wear a few of my favorite dresses. Although it was nice and warm this past weekend, I know cooler weather will be back soon. With the temperatures changing so often, I always like to keep a few staple pieces that I know can transition easily from season to season (or day to day).

Every girl needs a basic striped dress for her wardrobe. My favorite one is the Striped & Sassy Tunic Dress from Via 74.

This dress is so comfortable and perfect to add on the layers or keep it nice and simple for warmer days. And, if you use BBFF30, you can get 30% off this and other amazing items from Via 74 plus free shipping!

For those colder days layering is the way to go. You can add tights or leggings, but I love the way this dress looks with boots, a denim jacket and a blanket scarf.

Dress: Striped & Sassy Tunic Dress// Jacket: Rue 21// Scarf: Love That Monogram // Boots: Ross// Bag: Thrifted //

For warmer, spring days, I like to pair my dresses with a light weight cardigan and sandals. I love the way a bright colored cardigan looks with the striped.

I’m not sure if its just a southern thing, but when the temperature gets above 60 degrees, the sandals and open toed shoes are coming out!

Dress: Striped & Sassy Tunic Dress// Cardigan: Similar // Sandals: Similar // Bag: Thrifted//

Thanks again for all of you support and kind words! Don’t forget to check out Via 74 for other great items and use BBFF30 for 30% off your purchase. Let me know what your favorite transitional pieces are!

XOXO

February 2016 Date Box Review

Hello sweet friends!

Today I have a fun review for you! Last night my husband and I tried out DateBox for the first time. If you don’t know what DateBox is, it is a monthly subscription service that includes everything you need for a fun, and creative date each month!

img_2116-1

Datebox offers 3 different subscription plans:

Monthly Plan – $39.95/month

3 Month Plan –  $36.45/month

6 Month Plan –  $32.96/month

And if you use my code, BRANHAM25, you get 25% percent off your first month’s box!

This is such a great and unique ideas for those busy couples who need to spend more quality time with each other. Date night is so important and DateBox gives you a pre-planned evening so you don’t have to stress about what to do or where to go!

We received the February DateBox. The theme for this box was Selfless Love.

img_2119

Included in this month’s box was the Selfless Love booklet (I didn’t received the book in my box but I contacted DateBox and they sent me the PDF right away!), a gorgeous hard back notebook, lotion, a towel, an online code for a massage lesson, tea and a sweet treat.

First, lets talk about the packaging. I am sucker for presentation. When I first opened my box and saw gold rose petals, I was sold! The product was packaged so nicely and with such attention to detail!

The Selfless Love book talked about how important it is to care for your partner and how we all need to take into consideration the other person’s needs and feelings. There was a quiz and a discussion about how to better ourselves so we can care for our partner more. We enjoyed that part and discussed ways that we can improve our relationship.

The next part of the date was the massage! This box included a coupon code for an online video that gave step by step instructions for a head and neck massage. This was my husbands favorite part! It was about a 10 minute massage and it was very relaxing.

Last but not least, this box included tea for two and a sweet treat. We snacked on this while catching up on our favorite tv shows.

Overall, we enjoyed this month’s box. It was a great way to spend quality time with each other without going out or spending a lot of money. Don’t forget to use my code BRANHAM25 if you want to try out DateBox!

You can find DateBox on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Thank you so much for your love and support!

Pretty in #IPSYPINK [February Glam Bag]

Hello sweet friends!

It’s that time of the month again! IPSY GLAM BAG TIME!!

img_5866

Before I even get started with my mini reviews, I’m just going to tell you…this is my FAVORITE bag I have gotten so far! Everything is awesome!

First we have the IT Cosmetics BYE BYE UNDER EYE concealer in neutral medium. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

img_2022

A little bit goes along way! Don’t believe me? A tiny dot like super tiny covered the entire back of my hand!

It is super full coverage, creamy and sets to a nice natural finish. I used this for my under eyes and blemishes.

This Seraphine Botanicals Carrot + Rose hydrating cream smells phenomenal! SO GOOD! It is very moisturizing while still feels light on the skin.

img_2020

This can be used on the body or face but I will stick to using it on my hands because I have extremely sensitive skin. It gets an A+ mostly because it smells good and its in a cute tube.

Next I have the NAKED cosmetics Mica pigment in the color Sierra Nevada.

img_2023

This is a gorgeous color that can be used as an all over eyeshadow.

It does swatch and apply to the lids a bit lighter than I expected. I wore this color all day today over a primer and experienced no creasing or fading.

This Luxie flat definer brush is a perfect addition to my collection!

img_1995

The bristles are soft but firm which makes it perfect for applying shadow under the lower lash line!

Last but not least is the Chella Passionate Pink Lip Pencil. This is VERY pink! I love it! Super creamy and moisturizing!

img_2021

This will be put aside for now, I prefer this type of lip in the summer.

Here I am wearing the Naked pigment, the IT cosmetics concealer and the Chella lip pencil!

DIY Valentine’s Day Gifts!

Hello Sweet Friends!

I am so excited for today’s post because it is one of my favorite things, DIY! DIY gifts are always my favorite. I am going to show you three gifts that can easily be made at home, take less than 30 minutes to make and are all affordable!

Let’s get right into it with this adorable, customizable, coffee mug! This is the same style mug that I made for my co-workers for Christmas last year! Click here to see the detailed post on how to make your designs last on the cup!

All you need to complete this gift are oil-based Sharpies, a ceramic coffee mug, an oven and candy!

This is a perfect little treat for the coffee and chocolates lover in your life! There are so many more design ideas on Pinterest! I can’t wait to make more for upcoming holidays and birthdays!

This next idea is probably my favorite out of the three! It is a “Cheap Dates” jar. Basically, you write out and pre-plan dates on slips of paper, then paper clip the estimated amount of money it is to go on that date!

I just LOVE the idea of not having to worry about where to go or what to eat!

This can be completely done with things that you already have at home!  I picked up this cute jar at Target in the Dollar Spot! Some of my date ideas are: Netflix and Pizza, Burgers & Bowling and Coffee & Dessert!

Finally I have some “Coupons.” This idea is great because each person can customize the coupons to their own liking. I included things such as a 20 minute back massage. Be creative with this one!

All you need for this one is paper, a hole punch, stickers to decorate and ribbon!

I hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for reading!

Valentine’s Day Look 3 + Makeup Tips for Date Night

Hello Sweet Friends!

Today I have another Valentine’s Day look. This one is definitely more glam that the other two have been. I wanted to give an option for those who like to go all out on Valentine’s Day! This red dress is gorgeous but it reminds my of how badly I need a tan!

I couldn’t decide if I like this dress paired with nude pumps or black booties so I included both!

Looking at these picture now, I think I prefer the black booties! Oh man, do I need a tan!

Dress: Rue 21:// Black Booties: Target// Nude Pumps: Steve Madden via TJ Maxx// Cream Cluth: Thrifted//

Next I want to talk all about my favorite date night makeup tips and quick fixes!

Glue-On Nails

Don’t have the time or money to go to the nail salon? Pick up some glue on nails! This brand is my absolute favorite! So simple to use and stay. I get the real short version and they look perfect on my nails!

 img_1188

Not bad for $5.99 at Target.

Waterproof Mascara

If you are anything like me, gifts can tend to make me tear up. My husband is always so thoughtful and sometimes the waterworks happen. Waterproof mascara is a must for date night just in case.

Liquid Lipstick

I love liquid lipstick. I included this because it stays in place for hours. I like to pair it with a similar color gloss just to make sure my lips don’t look too dry.

This one should get you through drinks and dinner with no problems!

Primer

Primer is a must to make your foundation and concealer last all night! There is nothing worse than felling like you need to touch up in the middle of dinner. These are my favorites.

I hope you found these tips helpful! I have a few more Valentine’s related posts coming soon!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed!

Valentine’s Day Look 2 [Weekend Wear + TJ Maxx & Target Finds]

Hello Sweet Friends!

Today, I have another Valentine’s Day look for you! This one is very causal, but so festive! When I saw this top, it just screamed Valentine’s Day! If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I am obsessing over all things pink lately and you will definitely see that in this post!

I am also going to show you some of the awesome Target and TJ Maxx find I found while shopping with my blogger/real life BFF Whitley.

My top and bag were both found at Target, and they were both on clearance! I believe that the top is only available online but I found the bag in my local store.

I am loving how the gold and pink looks together!

Top: Target // Bag: Target // Jeans: Target // Flats: Rugged Warehouse // Sunglasses: Ebay // Bracelets: Rue 21//

Check out that hair! HAHA! Woah, hair flippy! 😉

I hope you enjoyed the look! I am loving the simplicity with the jeans and graphic t-shirt!

Onto the TJ Maxx finds…

This adorable little tray caught my eye as soon as I saw it! The quote is perfect and it was on sale for $3.50!

I am still on the hunt for a full body mirror! I like this one but I want it to be a little bigger. I just couldn’t help snapping a picture of my outfit in it though.

I knew this baby was coming home with me as soon as I saw it! How adorable is this case?! I am on a pink kick, for real. It was only $14.99! For a Kate Spade phone case, that is an amazing price!

Let me know what goodies you have picked up recently! Any deals I should check out?!

I hope you are liking these Valentine’s themed looks so far! I have a few more planned! Until next time.

XOXO
