Quick & Easy Summer Treat! [Passion Tea Lemonade]

Hello friends!!

Happy Memorial Day! Today we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country!

I am also 14 weeks pregnant! We are so excited to find out if Baby B is a sweet little boy or a pretty little girl this weekend! I will share the details of our affordable gender reveal party next week!

Today marks the “unofficial” start of summer. If you are anything like me, you love a good passion tea lemonade from Starbucks in the summer! Being pregnant, I have given up caffeine and tried to replace it with other tasty treats!

I was recently on Pinterest and saw copy cat recipes of all the popular Starbuck’s drinks, so you know I had to try it for myself!

For this recipe, you only need a few ingredients:

Tazo Passion Tea: 2 tea bags

Water: 16 ounces

Simply Lemonade: 8 ounces

Vanilla Extract: 1/4 teaspoon

Sugar or sugar substitute: 2 teaspoons

Prepare tea according to the directions on the box, add sugar and vanilla. Allow to cool for 30 minutes. Remove tea bags and add lemonade. Refrigerate or serve over ice!

This doesn’t taste exactly like Starbucks but it is pretty close in my opinion and it’s caffeine free!

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know what your favorite caffeine free drinks are and if you have an recipes I should try!

XOXO

Recent Old Navy Purchases [Getting Ready for Summer]

Hello sweet friends!!

Long time no post! I know! I’m trying to get back into the swing of things after finding out that we are expecting!

We are so excited and can’t wait to meet our little one! But before little one gets here, I have all summer to get through. That includes a beach trip and many family cookouts and birthdays.

I have started buying some items that I hope will last me through the summer and be comfortable enough for my growing belly.

All of these items are from Old Navy but I have a few more pieces from other places that I will include in a later post.

First is this jersey swing dress. This dress is so comfortable. It’s loose and flowy without being boxy. I need every color.

Next are these two dresses. I am in love with the cami dresses. They are so comfy and flattering. My husband said they are the best fitting dresses I own. My chest is much bigger now that I am pregnant so I did have to go up one size.

How I styled one of the dresses for work.

This linen dress wasn’t a win for me. It will be going back. The fit and fabric just wasn’t right and I felt like it ran a little small. Mine is in the denim color but it is sold out online.

Maternity shorts are life!! I LOVE THEM! They are so comfortable. These are a great fit. I bought my normal size and the have plenty of room for the belly to grow. They are 50% off on Old Navy’s website right now!

This maternity bathing suit is very flattering. I actually purchased the black but unfortunately it is sold out online. I bought a medium and it fits great with plenty of room to grow.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know what you’re summer essentials are and if you have picked anything up that I need to check out!
XOXO
