DIY Animal Mason Jars [Lily’s Nursery]

Hello friends!

I have another quick, DIY for you today! I saw these adorable animal topped mason jars on Pinterest and I knew I had to make my own!

I haven’t decided exactly what I am going to do with these or where I am going to put them, but I’m sure I will think of something!

For this DIY, you will need:

Mason jars, I used two different sizes

Animals, I found these adorable elephants from Goodwill

Paint Brush

Modge Podge

Glitter

Paint

Tape

Hot Glue Gun

I started off by painting the jars to my liking. I taped off the bottom portion of both. I used the mint green on one and put glitter on the other.

To make the glitter stay and not flake off, you will want to layer 2-3 coats of modge podge and glitter. Make sure you allow it to dry in between coats and that your final layer is modge podge.

Next, I hot glued my elephants to the lids of the mason jars and painted them with my desired colors!

Once everything is dry, screw the lids on the jars and you are done! So simple but so cute!

I can’t wait to show you everything else I have planned! Her nursery is slowly coming together and I am so excited to do a full nursery tour!

Thank you so much for all of your love and support!

XOXO
